Do chemical peels hurt?

You may feel mild burning or itching during the chemical peel, but we also offer a mild numbing cream to be applied before application.

How long does the procedure take?

Chemical peels can take anywhere from a few minutes to an hour, depending on your needs.

When do I see results?

New skin will begin to develop anywhere from one to two weeks after treatment, depending on your treatment and lifestyle factors like age and diet.

What is the recovery period like?

Recovery time varies depending on the extent and intensity of the treatment. Your skin will be more sun-sensitive after treatment and wearing sunscreen is highly recommended.

Light peels:

• Up to seven days to heal with skin peeling
• Sunburnt skin appearance may last up to a month
• Most patients can usually wear makeup the next day

Medium peels:

• 7-14 day recovery time
• Some swelling and skin dryness

Is Microneedling painful?

What should I expect following my Microneedling treatment?

Immediately after, you will experience redness and your face may feel similar to a mild sun burn - these effects usually subside with 1-3 days. Some patients also experience minor peeling or flaking as the skin heals. You are able to wear makeup the following day, however if you are acne-prone we suggest to stay clear of applying it for a few days. Please be prepared to stay out of the sun for the next week, apply SPF every day, and avoid exercise for 48 hours post-microneedling.

Can Microneedling be combined with other treatments?
